I have been in practice for 30 years with an emphasis on low back and leg pain as well as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I started my career at the David Low Back Center in Freeport, IL. in 1991 with Dr. Randy David and spent 6 years with him developing a concentrated practice of the detection, correction and rehabilitation of low back and leg pain. In 1993 I branched out into the wonderful world of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and developed my skills to treat wrist injuries. It was at that point that Dr. David and I had a Chiropractic Clinic that dealt with the two most common work injuries in the U.S.
In 1997 I started my own practice in a small town in Northwest Iowa continuing my concentration on low back and leg pain and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. In 2000 I decided that I could help more people if I started a second practice in another town with a slightly larger population and divided my time between the 2 of them for the next 3 years.
The second practice started to grow over the next three years and I decided it was time to sell the first practice in 2003. It was that same year that I met my wife, Kelly. She has been my inspiration and the love of my life ever since.
Fast forward to 2020 and the pandemic. Kelly and I have been married for 15 years and realized that we were at a point in our life together in which we needed to look and work toward retirement. We did an extensive search throughout the U.S. and found that Champaign, IL. has what we are looking for in terms of our retirement. And it didn't hurt that I retained my Illinois license!
Kelly and I are happy to be in Champaign and look forward to developing new relationships and friendships with all of you!
