Description
The Junior League of Champaign-Urbana is hosting its First Stiletto Sprint, sponsored by McClure Financial Group of Northwestern Mutual, on Saturday, October 13, 2012 in Downtown Champaign. Registration begins at 8:00pm and two races will be held – one for women at 8:30pm and the other for gentlemen at 9:00pm – with prizes awarded to the race winners. Individual participant entry fee is $20. Team (maximum of 15 participants) entry fee is $200. All runners must have heels to run in. The route will be on Neil Street between Church and Chester. Advance registration is available online at www.juniorleaguecu.org and the first 250 participants receive t-shirts. All proceeds will benefit Junior League Locker, a teacher supply store organized by the JLCU to provide free supplies to teachers in the Champaign and Urbana school districts.
