Meadowbrook Park is in Southeast Urbana. PACE will be located where Vine street intersects Windsor Road. The Park surrounds both sides of Clark-Lindsey Retirement Village. The Park street address is 2808 S. Race. The Wheelathon is on the other side of Clark-Lyndsey.

Description
This is an accessible fundraiser in Meadowbrook Park, Urbana. PACE provides support services to people who have disabilities and are working to increase or maintain their independence. There are event sponsorships available; call for a sponsor packet. We are also looking for teams to participate in wheeling the course. Free event t-shirts are available to wheelers who bring in $60.00 or more in donations.

On May 9th 2015, we are proud to be hosting our 7th annual Wheelathon, and invite you to join us. The purpose of this event is two fold: 1) To raise awareness about the challenges faced daily by those who have to navigate the world in a wheelchair. 2) To raise money which will help us continue to continue the mission of helping those with disabilities to grow and maintain their independence.
To the first point, you will see just how challenging pushing yourself everywhere could be, as you wind your way through Urbana’s beautiful Meadowbrook Park. As you go through this course, you will experience pushing yourself uphill, controlling yourself downhill, and keeping yourself on pavement through sweeping curves.
And as for the second point, our mission helps hundreds of your friends and neighbors remain independent every year. Our ultimate goal is not only to help empower the individual, but ensure that society’s barriers to inclusion and independence are removed.
