The City of Champaign, City of Urbana, Village of Savoy, University of Illinois, Champaign County and Champaign County Soil & Water Conservation District are coming together to hold their biennial stormwater and erosion control conference on October 28, 2025. Attendance is free. Breakfast and lunch are included, but registration is required. Please register at www.ccstormwater.org Presentation this year included: Depaving: The Groundwork for Urban Climate Adaptation Stormwater Management in a Changing Climate Beavers: The original ecological engineer Cook County Green Stormwater Infrastructure From Soil to Supper Plate: How local farms play a critical role in food security And a Site Visit to Sola Gratia Farms Note: PDU's are available to those who need them (5 hours for full day attendance.)
