It is 2014 and unfortunately, there are still many gender differences in the workforce. According to recent statistics gathered by the Pew Research Center and the U.S. Census, today's young women are starting their careers better educated than their male counterparts, but why are there still roadblocks to their success? Women are also less likely than men to ask for raises or aspire to top management jobs. This series is meant to empower the women of Champaign County and teach them about the unconscious mistakes that could be holding them back in their career.

Beth Reutter will be leading each class in this series. She is a Certified Business Etiquette and International Protocol Consultant, through The Protocol School of Washington in Washington, DC. Reutter holds an Ed.M. with an emphasis in Human Resource Development from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she is Program Director and Professor of Hospitality Management.

Lunch will be provided at both seminars.
