Description
Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County enjoys a partnership with Lowe’s Home Improvement stores nationally, and each year partners with Lowe’s to host a FREE Women Build Clinic. Local women (ages 16-90+) are invited to attend and learn from Lowe’s experts and Habitat construction crew how to; safely use hand and power tools, frame walls, roofs, install siding and roofing shingles and how to finish interior paint and trim. Annually over 100 women attend and learn basic home maintenance skills in a fun and safe environment. Pre-registration is requested at: http://www.cuhabitat.org/2015/01/women-build-clinic-at-lowes/
