Description
After several months establishing a presence in downtown Champaign, the Champaign County Convention and Visitors Bureau will officially open the Welcome Center on Tuesday, May 8 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. The Welcome Center will be the destination for travelers to the area to stop in and find out where to stay, eat and play in Champaign County. In addition to a knowledgeable staff, the site will offer brochures and pamphlets for distribution on community events and attractions. The Welcome Center is located at 108 S. Neil St. in the Atkinson Memorial Building and is in the ideal location to catch foot traffic for those in the downtown area. Be sure to mark your calendar for the ribbon cutting and following celebration.
