The next Chamber electricity co-op is forming. You now have the opportunity to join (at no additional cost), start getting budget stability, and saving on your electricity costs. On Thursday, Sept. 29, the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce, along with our new official electricity provider Fighting Illini Energy (FIE), will host two educational sessions on how to join the next Chamber electricity cooperative round. By pooling together, the aggregate amount of electricity our members are using along with FIE's wholesale expertise and strength of credit allows FIE to provide a great cost savings to our members. Pooling the efforts leads to better pricing for all members that participate.
On average, the Chamber members participating in the Chamber cooperative program are saving 15 percent on their electricity supply. Join us either 8:00 am to 9:30 am or 11:30 to 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 29 at the Hilton Garden Inn to learn how you can start saving money; experience budget stability; get additional marketing exposure for your company and help to support the University of Illinois in the process.
There is no charge to attend the educational session but YOU MUST BE A CHAMBER MEMBER to participate in the co-op and RSVPs are necessary. RSVP to Norma Wesley at 531-4669 or normaw@champaigncounty.org by Tuesday, Sept. 27. Thank you.
