Andy K Avery Concert

Andy Avery will be in concert at the Sidney Christian Church, 305 East Main Sidney, IL (next to the Sidney Community Center) on Sunday, October 5 at 6:00 PM. Andy Avery comes to us from Lexington, KY with an amazing Christian testimony and musical ability. In the 1980’s his life was rock and roll music while singing for the band Smokehouse. They toured nationally opening for bands like Kiss, Bon Jovi, Ted Nugent, and many others. After getting caught up in the world of drugs and alcohol abuse and losing everything he owned including his family, Andy found Jesus while in prison and God gave him a new song to sing. He is now a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ and a licensed substance abuse counselor. He does high school assemblies, prison ministry, concerts, and church revivals. Originally from Burlington, IA, Andy was inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. Andy’s talent and enthusiasm for the Lord will bless you.
