2020 ATHENA Award Luncheon

Join Champaign County Chamber of Commerce members and representatives from local businesses as we honor the 2020 ATHENA Award® recipient, Sharon Allen. Read her full press release here. The recipient of the ATHENA Award® demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in his or her business or profession; provides valuable service by devoting time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community; and assists women in reaching their full leadership potential.

This year’s luncheon will also present the ATHENA Young Professional Award® recipient is Laura Gerhold. This award is given to an emerging leader who strives toward the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment and serves as a role model for young women. This award is sponsored by past recipients of the ATHENA Award®.

The 2020 ATHENA Award® luncheon is sponsored by the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce and Spherion Staffing Services. The recipient’s lapel pin is provided by Busey Wealth Management.

The luncheon will be at 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2020. Doors will open and registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. The cost to attend is $34 for members and $46 for non-members.

Reserved tables of 8 may be purchased for the event. The price for a table is $325 for members and $525 for non-members.
