Singleton\, Singleton Law Firm\, P.C. \n\n\n\nIn this workshop\, Alan will discuss the advantages and disadvantages to a variety of business financing options. He will detail the pros and cons of borrowing start-up funds from friends and family\, bootstrapping\, the advantages of government funding (mainly through the Small Business Innovation Research Program)\, and how to obtain traditional bank loans. In addition\, this workshop will provide how to acquire funds from angel investors and venture capitalists. \n\n\n\nAlan has provided legal services to business clients for over 24 years. Alan regularly advises clients on issues including raising capital\, securities compliance\, taxation\, and implementing stock option plans\, and has frequently worked with a number of SBIR funding companies as well as participating in the drafting of SBIR applications. \n\n\n\nThe cost to attend this seminar is $19 for Chamber members and $39 for non-members. \n\n\n\nTo register\, please email Caryn Isenhower or call 217.359.1791.
