Homebuyer education and Counseling- A 6 part education program that provides an unbiased comprehensive overview of the home purchase process to help homebuyers make smart informed decisions in their journey to becoming home owners.
*Participants will receive a detailed reference manual.*

Wednesday April 5th at 6pm: Are you Ready to Buy a Home?
How do you buy a home? How much can you pay for a house? Mortgage payments and other costs of homeownership.

Monday April 10th at 6pm: Managing Your Money & Credit
Getting started with making a plan for your money, the importance of saving, what is a credit score and how is your credit raining, and improving your credit score.

Wednesday April 12th at 6pm: Getting a Mortgage Loan
Who can get a mortgage loan, how much will a lender loan you, and working with a lender.

Monday April 17th at 6pm: Shopping for a Home
Timeline and steps in the home buying process, types of homes and ownership, escrow explained, and what to expect at closing.

Wednesday April 19th at 6pm: Keeping your home.
Home maintenance and saving energy, record keeping (save it or shred it), and dealing with unexpected hardships.
