Learn how to use the science of predictable behavior to drastically improve employee, leader, team and company performance.
Jim Connolly’s work involves helping companies apply the science of human behavior to dramatically improve employee, leader, team and company performance. The principles from the science of human behavior are often overlooked because most people don’t see human behavior as scientific.
The truth is that, while every person is unique, human behavior is predictable. In his speaking and consulting, Jim uses humorous examples of human behavior including kids learning to ride their bikes without training wheels, how kids begin to realize in their late teens that they are becoming their parents and how hard it is to change personal and organizational habits.
When business leaders realize that patterns of human behavior are predictable and naturally occurring, they begin to see that the science of human behavior can be applied to systematically improve employee, leader, team and company performance.
About the Speaker:
Jim’s expertise is in understanding how human behavior and organizational processes work together – or against one another – to determine an organization’s results. The process is called Organizational Execution.
Jim is also a gifted and humorous speaker. He recently shared the stage with the legendary Brian Tracy in Orlando, Florida. Jim is also founder of two CEO peer groups and a frequent presenter for CEO Roundtable groups including Renaissance Executive Forums. He is also an adjunct facilitator for the Edward Lowe Foundation, which provides CEO coaching and retreats.
Jim is an active member of the Institute of Management Consultants and the Turnaround Management Association. He is also an author and writes for several publications. Jim’s expertise has been quoted in numerous publications, including BusinessWeek magazine and The New York Post.
Jim’s career experience also includes more than 1,800 behavioral interviews. In short, after a behavioral interview, Jim can tell you today what you will know about a potential employee six months from now. These results are based on Jim’s expertise in understanding how the drivers of human behavior will determine on-the-job performance.
Jim’s company, Thomas, Connolly & Phelps, Inc., is an organizational behavior consulting firm based in Bloomington, IL.
